We are the Implementation Working Group on Energy Efficiency in Buildings (IWG5) within the European Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan.

This site serves as a central entry and contact point for information on the work of the IWG Energy Efficiency in Buildings for the SET Plan community in Europe. We want to provide an overview of the European research and development of new materials and technologies for energy efficiency solutions and cross-cutting heating and cooling technologies for buildings. In addition, we will present an overview of the European funding landscape and in doing so highlight the role of national and regional funding in the SET Plan context.
