Kick-off meeting of the IWG5 Buildings Coordination and Support Action project

On 15 June 2026, the Coordination and Support Action (CSA) project, SET-IWG5, organised its kick-off meeting at the ECTP office in Brussels.

For the next two years, the Horizon Europe support project SET-IWG5will support the SET Plan Implementation Working Group on Energy and Resource Efficiency in Buildings by:

  • providing strategic and methodological guidance,
  • facilitating stakeholder engagement,
  • developing a Thematic Vision and a Common Investment and Implementation Plan,
  • ensuring alignment with SET Plan objectives and execution,
  • publishing white papers on cooling strategies and cross-cutting topics,
  • developing synergies with EU-funded projects, initiatives and European networks.

The CSA will guarantee the long-term sustainability and efficient operation of IWG5 and strengthen collaboration with representatives from the EU and associated countries, industry, research organisations and civil society.

SET-IWG5 is composed of ECTP, CSIC, EUREC, Eurac Research and WIP Renewable Energies.
